Welcome to The Delforge Place, one of Fredericksburg's best known Traditional Bed & Breakfasts! The Delforge Place has been welcoming guests since 1985. And still, each day brings a new adventure, thanks to you -- our guests -- who've come from every corner of the world and represent so many unique personalities... Your suite inside The Delforge Place will be one of several inside an historic Victorian-style home, built as a one-room Sunday House in 1898 by German pioneer Ferdinand Koeppen. Originally situated on a tract of land near Barons Creek known as the "Company Garden," which had been set aside as a communal garden by the German Emigration Company, it was moved to its present site and restored in 1975.
Privacy As a Traditional Bed & Breakfast, you'll stay in the home of your hosts, yet have complete privacy.
And, with your own key, you are welcome to come and go as you please.
Further, the Traditional B&B format means there's always someone available to offer restaurant, shopping, or site-seeing recommendations and advice, if needed.
Relax in a therapeutic spa. You can have access to the internet via secured wireless internet connection from your room.
Furnished with American and European pieces, The Delforge Place is accented with antiques and family heirlooms. Through the French doors leads to a shaded patio. Guest rooms or suites offer a number of amenities,
and are themed according to different historical periods. Activities There are many ways to spend your time while visiting The Delforge Place:
Your Hosts Your host and hostess are both native Texans. Kirk who is of German/Polish descent, has worked in the industrial sales/service for 20+ years, but he would really rather be hunting or fishing. Debbie has been a homemaker and "Mom" to Alexandria and Taylor.
